The Michigan Messenger: Barack Obama’s acceptance speech at Invesco Field

Obama's speech was nothing but platitude, attack, platitude, attack. As usual, he offered nothing in the way of substantive solutions. Instead, when he did say what he wanted as opposed to what he was against, he offered something obvious, such as "energy independence" (in 10 years, no less), or that he would get bin Laden. Who doesn't want this?! But how is he going to achieve it? He never got beyond the platitudes.

www.notwrightforamerica.com used the old phrase "Where's the beef?" to describe his speech. Very fitting.
