    Kennecott Sulfide Mine I am disappointed that the UP Legislators took even a glass of water from this mining company. While, I realize it is part of the process to attend hearings or presentations from both sides of any issue, this is one where the Legislators staff need to have been particularly diligent in vetting. I respectfully request that the Legislators involved reexamine this issue and give a real listen to their constituents.

    The Legislators should ask Governor Granholm to become involved in this issue too and to urge the DEQ to not allow this permit to go through.

    Why do people in higher position feel the need to be so self-centered to think they deserve to be giving anything other then ther salary. Taking them only puts them into another position, that of a theif and should be treated as such. Why can't people who love to get into office have to become greedy and want everything.
