The Michigan Messenger: Michigan Messenger » Detroit Mayor: ‘Let’s Make a Deal’

He's panicking now, perhaps. But if he was smart, he'd have gone for the plea bargain a long time ago. He might have gotten more sympathy from the Governor then. Now he's dug himself to deep, especially with the jail time and assault charges.

Kwame's problem is this: He thought he could live out his fantasy of being a gangster during his time as Mayor. "City employees don't work for the city, they work for me" was his mantra (that includes the police). So when a police (Gary Brown) tried to investigate him and the murder of Tamara Green, and his affair, he had to get rid of him and pay him of big time

But Kwame's no gangster. See, real gangsters don't get caught. In hip-hop terminology, he's what is known as a WANGSTER.

Wangster. Good one. I'll have to find a way to use that one.

Just don't understand why it was so difficult to simply play it straight, you know? How hard could it be to simply stay within the bounds of the law?

People of Detroit do not feel sorry for this "con man" fool. You felt sorry for him and voted him back into office. You should really feel like fools yourselves. Just because he is an African American does not mean that he is right. He conned you and he played on your sense of being who you are. A fool is a fool nomatter what color he is. All ways remember this. Guess what, now he's overplayed his own hand. Kwame you should really be ashamed of yourself. You have misused your wife and the city of Detroit. No wonder the city of Detroit always gets a bad name. Jus remember do not drop the soap.
